The three things that dirty a Portland window

Questions homeowners ask
Does rain make clean windows dirty again?
Clean rain does not. What streaks glass after a storm is what was already on it: pollen, dust or honeydew being smeared around. Freshly cleaned glass usually sheds a rain without marks.
Should windows be cleaned before or after the pollen?
After. Around Portland that means June. An April cleaning looks good for a few weeks and then the fir and cottonwood pollen arrive.
Are screens included?
Screens are brushed and the sills wiped on an exterior visit, because they hold most of what gets blamed on the glass. Screen removal and washing is a separate scope when they are badly loaded.
