1. Service area
HomeHaven Northwest serves Portland, Oregon and surrounding areas. Requests outside the standard service area may involve additional travel costs or may be declined based on availability.
2. Estimates and pricing
Estimates are free unless otherwise stated and are generally valid for 30 days. Pricing may reflect property size, measurements, service type, pitch, access, buildup, water access, safety requirements, and scope. Customer information, photos, aerial measurements, and visual inspection may be used. Materially different onsite conditions can require a price adjustment before work begins.
3. Scheduling and access
Customers must provide safe, unobstructed access to the scheduled work. Gates should be unlocked, pets secured, vehicles moved when needed, and practical obstacles cleared. Inaccessible or unsafe work may be rescheduled.
4. Weather and safety
Work may be postponed, stopped, or cancelled for unsafe weather, unstable access, electrical hazards, damaged materials, insects, slippery surfaces, or other conditions that could create injury or property damage.
5. Payment
Payment is due at completion unless agreed otherwise in writing. Approved payment methods may include card, cash, check, or electronic payment. Existing written quote or invoice terms control when they are more specific.
6. Cancellations
At least 24 hours’ notice is requested for cancellations or rescheduling. Weather, workload, and availability affect replacement dates. Repeated last-minute changes or inaccessible properties may affect future booking availability.
7. Property condition
Customers must disclose known vulnerabilities such as loose gutters, failing paint, poor caulking, damaged roofing or siding, water intrusion, electrical issues, or delicate surfaces. HomeHavenNW is not responsible for pre-existing damage, hidden defects, improper installation, oxidation, or already-compromised materials.
8. Results and limitations
Results vary by material, age, condition, staining, organic growth, and prior maintenance. Permanent staining, oxidation, lichen, mineral deposits, rust, oil, damaged finishes, or deep discoloration may not be fully removable. Some roof treatments continue working after the visit.
9. Service concerns
Customers should report a service concern within 48 hours. HomeHavenNW will review reasonable issues and, when appropriate, return to address work within the original scope. This does not cover pre-existing damage, permanent staining, unsafe additional cleaning, or work outside the approved scope.
10. Environmental practices
HomeHavenNW aims to follow applicable local requirements for runoff, wastewater, and exterior cleaning, while taking reasonable steps to protect landscaping, limit unnecessary chemical use, and reduce water waste where practical.
11. SMS and email
With express consent, HomeHavenNW may send quote follow-ups, scheduling updates, reminders, service messages, review requests, and occasional offers. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Promotional email can be unsubscribed from; necessary service messages may still be sent.
12. Website use and liability
Website content, branding, images, and materials may not be copied or misused. To the extent permitted by law, HomeHavenNW is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Liability for a service claim is limited to the amount paid for the specific service, except where law does not permit that limitation.
