Welcome to HomeHaven Northwest (“HomeHavenNW,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and your access to our exterior cleaning services, including but not limited to window cleaning, gutter cleaning, roof cleaning, moss treatment, house washing, pressure washing, and related services.
By using our website, requesting an estimate, approving a quote, scheduling a service, or communicating with us, you agree to these Terms.
1. Service Area
HomeHaven Northwest serves Portland, Oregon and surrounding areas. Requests outside our standard service area may be subject to additional travel fees or may be declined based on availability.
2. Estimates & Pricing
Estimates are free unless otherwise stated.
Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise noted.
Pricing may be based on factors including property size, square footage, service type, roof pitch, level of moss or debris buildup, water access, safety requirements, accessibility, and overall scope of work.
Quotes may be based on customer-submitted information, photos, aerial measurements, or visual inspection. If onsite conditions differ significantly from what was originally provided or observed, pricing may be adjusted before work begins.
Any additional work outside the original estimate may result in extra charges. We will discuss and obtain approval for additional work before continuing whenever reasonably possible.
3. Scheduling & Property Access
Customers are responsible for providing safe and unobstructed access to all areas needed for the scheduled service.
Before our arrival, please ensure that gates are unlocked, pets are secured, vehicles are moved if needed, and outdoor furniture, decorations, or other obstacles are cleared from work areas when practical.
If we cannot access the property or safely complete the work due to locked gates, blocked areas, unsafe conditions, or other preventable issues, the appointment may need to be rescheduled.
4. Weather & Safety
Exterior cleaning services may be rescheduled due to unsafe weather or working conditions, including but not limited to heavy rain, high winds, ice, lightning, extreme temperatures, or unsafe roof or ladder conditions.
We reserve the right to postpone, stop, or cancel service if we determine that a condition on the property creates a safety risk or may result in property damage.
Examples of safety concerns may include unstable ladders or ladder placement, loose roofing materials, damaged gutters, unsafe roof pitch, wasp nests, electrical hazards, slippery surfaces, or other site hazards.
5. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of the job unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Accepted payment methods may include credit card, debit card, cash, check, electronic payment, or other approved payment methods.
Late payments may be subject to a late fee of 10% per 7-day period until the balance is paid in full, unless prohibited by applicable law.
Customer is responsible for any returned payment fees, collection costs, or other costs reasonably incurred due to nonpayment.
6. Cancellations & Rescheduling
We request at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
We make reasonable efforts to reschedule service within 1–5 business days, depending on weather, workload, and availability.
Repeated cancellations, inaccessible properties, or last-minute scheduling changes may affect future booking availability.
7. Property Condition & Customer Responsibilities
Customer is responsible for informing HomeHaven Northwest of any known property vulnerabilities before service begins.
This includes but is not limited to loose gutters, damaged siding, failing paint, poor caulking, leaky windows or doors, pre-existing water intrusion, damaged roofing, loose trim, electrical issues, delicate surfaces, or any other known condition that may be affected by cleaning.
While we take care to use appropriate cleaning methods, HomeHaven Northwest is not responsible for pre-existing damage, hidden defects, improperly installed materials, neglected maintenance, oxidation, or damage resulting from surfaces or structures that are already compromised.
We use soft washing or lower-pressure methods where appropriate to protect delicate surfaces. Results may vary depending on age, condition, staining, moss growth, oxidation, and prior maintenance.
8. Results & Limitations
Exterior cleaning results vary by surface type, age, condition, staining, organic growth, and maintenance history.
Some stains, oxidation, moss, lichen, algae, mineral deposits, artillery fungus, rust, oil, paint damage, or deep discoloration may not be fully removable.
Roof moss treatment and soft washing may continue working after the service is completed. In some cases, moss, staining, or organic growth may lighten, loosen, or fall away gradually over time.
9. Satisfaction Guarantee
We stand behind our work. If you are not satisfied with your service, please notify us within 48 hours of completion.
We will review the concern and, when appropriate, return to address reasonable service-related issues at no additional charge.
This guarantee does not apply to pre-existing damage, permanent staining, oxidation, surfaces that cannot be safely cleaned further, or conditions outside the original scope of work.
10. Environmental Responsibility
HomeHaven Northwest aims to use responsible cleaning practices and to follow applicable local requirements related to runoff, wastewater, and exterior cleaning.
Cleaning solutions may be used when necessary for moss, algae, mildew, or other organic growth. We take reasonable steps to protect landscaping, minimize unnecessary chemical use, and reduce water waste where practical.
11. SMS/Text Messaging Terms
By checking the SMS consent box on our website form, submitting a form with SMS consent, or otherwise providing express consent to receive text messages from HomeHaven Northwest, you agree to receive SMS/text messages from HomeHaven Northwest.
Messages may include quote follow-ups, scheduling updates, appointment reminders, service updates, customer support messages, review requests, and occasional promotional offers.

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message from us. After you reply STOP, we may send a final confirmation message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed.
